Shepherd's Field Village

We are so thankful to know have all the trip details (lodging, flights, etc) confirmed. We have been in contact with the people at Shepherd's Field Village in Tianjin, China where Maeve is currently residing. We are grateful for the opportunity to see (with both our eyes and heart) where Maeve has spent most of her life. We have found out that the place she is residing is basically a mission for children with special medical needs. It was founded by an American couple who have biological and adopted children.

We are in awe of how God has worked to place our family in close proximity to the work of Shepherd's Field Village. We know He has a purpose. Our desire is to continue to assist Shepherd's Field as a family; we pray God will help us be open and willing to serve as He leads. As a family, we attempt to see where God is working and join Him there; we cannot deny that our family is very clearly seeing Him at work in this specific ministry. We are not sure how God moved the orphanage director where Maeve was abandoned to get in contact with the people of Shepherd's Field, but we are forever grateful to God for working mightily in our daughter's life (and our family).
